Home is downtown on S Calvert St. Fells Point is 1.5 miles east, the stadium is 1.3 miles southwest, and the two are in opposite directions. Seven of the 16 places are closed Sunday night.

  • Fells Point: a flat 30-minute walk or a 5–10 minute ride. Once you are there, every place is within 10 minutes on foot. Go once and stay.
  • Stadium: a 25-minute walk from home. It is 2.4 miles from Fells Point, so do not plan to walk between them.
  • Remington and Hampden: ride only, and they are north, away from everything else. Each one is its own trip.

If you want Clavel on Saturday

Clavel is 2.2 miles north of home, the opposite direction from Fells Point. Ride up for 5pm, then it is a 3.8 mile ride (10–15 minutes) down to Max's. With a 1–2 hour wait you will likely miss the 7:30 kickoffs.

Sunday

The stadium and Fells Point are on opposite sides of home, so home is the pivot: game, back home, then out to dinner.

Thames Street Oyster House

The Sunday pick. 1.5 miles from home, and one trip covers dinner and the nightcap: Cat's Eye is next door and Rye is 4 minutes away. Best seafood on the list. Book on Resy now, or walk in for bar seats at 5pm.

Seppia

A big new Italian room in Hampden. 3.9 miles north of home, ride only, 10–15 minutes. It closes at 9pm Sunday, so a nightcap in Fells Point means another 5 mile ride. Bottles over $100 are half off on Sundays and tables were easy to get.

Marta

The most ambitious food on the list, but small, loud and date-heavy. 1.7 miles from home, then a 17-minute walk or short ride to the Thames Street bars. Sunday dinner runs 5–9pm. Sit at the bar.

If you do it Saturday instead

Eat at 5pm at Peter's Inn (steak and martinis) or Little Donna's, then walk 6–9 minutes to Max's for the 7:30 kickoffs. Peter's Inn takes reservations by email only, and not same-day after 3pm.
