The one nice dinner
Saturday night is the college football night, so the nice dinner fits better on Sunday after the Ravens game.
Thames Street Oyster House
The Sunday pick. It is in Fells Point, so you stay in the neighborhood, and it has the best seafood on the list. Book on Resy now, or walk in for bar seats at 5pm.
Seppia
The other good Sunday option. A big new Italian room in Hampden, about a 15-minute drive. Bottles over $100 are half off on Sundays and tables were easy to get.
Marta
The most ambitious food on the list, but the room is small, loud and date-heavy. Sunday dinner runs 5–9pm. Sit at the bar.
If you do it Saturday instead
Eat at 5pm at Peter's Inn (steak and martinis) or Little Donna's, then walk to Max's for the 7:30 kickoffs. Peter's Inn takes reservations by email only, and not same-day after 3pm.

- Clavel
- W.C. Harlan (hours from third-party listings)
- Peter's Inn (open Thursday–Saturday only)

Where to watch
Max's Taphouse
The only real football bar on the list. 18+ TVs per third-party listings, full BBQ menu, and no band competing with the games. Ask the bartender for sound on your game.
Admiral's Cup and The Horse
Both have TVs and work for afternoon games. Once the bands start Saturday night, there is no game sound.
Backup, not on the list: Abbey Burger Bistro
811 S Broadway, a block from Max's. About 26 TVs per a 2016 Baltimore Sun piece. Closes 11pm Saturday, so it will not carry the late games.
Researched Friday Sept 18, 2026. Hours come from each place's own site unless flagged. Anything marked third-party is worth a call before you walk over.
